Today’s article is going to be a bit different. Because I’ve noticed something dangerous going on across the board in spiritual circles… including many Twin Flame discussion boards and advice forums.
The “guru trap”. An ancient pattern that human culture has nursed for centuries, to look outside of ourselves for saving, for fixing, for divine intervention, for miracles…
The desire to be lead. To have information presented by someone outside of you, that seemingly gives you all the answers. Information of when certain things will happen with your Twin, whether you’ll come together or not…
Prophecies of when Twins will Reunite at some time in the near future… (Google some of these predictions posted a few years ago – you’ll discover that 90% of what they promise didn’t come to pass, so let that be an indication)
Who Are You Really? And Why Are You Here?
The reality is we are creators, the divine all along. We just need to embrace our inner power and apply it, directing it outward to create the miracles we desire.
And I’m not at all saying it’s easy or an overnight thing – I’m still working on this lesson myself. But as long as we keep looking to others and staying in the dark about our own capabilities, it can per definition not happen. And that’s often why things seem to be so stuck for Twins.
This is perhaps the core lesson our souls have chosen to learn in this lifetime, so we keep being pushed up against the wall. To realize that we are our own answers, creators – that we can “perform our own miracles”. Really, it can be an epiphany that opens it up for you…
But most often it takes time to begin truly stepping into the light of who we are as a soul and to ensure real life changes that way. When we clear our old baggage, release limitations and instill new positivity, at some point we “click into” that place of positive power.
The power to change things with our intentions, actions and energy instead of standing in a place of *hoping* things will change due to some outer circumstances beyond our control…

The Real Twin Flame Purpose – Why We All Divided
Right now, you and your Twin Flame are on this journey of love together – you chose to divide from one original soul consciousness into two bodies.
So that you could be born here on earth, learn and experience the human world of separation. Then to journey back together, mirroring back to each other any shadow, fear or hurt you’ve carried inside – so that you could heal each other with love and reunite whole, both as individuals and as a pair.
This is why you came here. To accept and love unconditionally, in a masterful path of transcending the human world of separation and conflict. To with your love, help all of humanity bridge the distance from soul to soul, heart to heart.
A beautiful journey for those who make it. But so many Twin Flames are sadly stuck in separation and struggle… When that was never what their souls intended when they came here.
It’s no secret that many Twin Flames are unlikely to Reunite in this lifetime. There’s no happy ending for everyone, unfortunately. But there can be – and often, it requires a complete shift in approach.
Life Is A Free Will Game
The truth is: You are the one who has to travel your path. No one can travel your path or learn your lessons for you.
You know your “stuff” better than anyone else – and your soul wants you to experience these lessons to the fullest, because that’s how you evolve, that’s how you open up to a love bigger and wider than people on earth ever experienced…

What Twin Flame Beliefs Are Causing Struggle For You?
Now, back to “the Guru Trap”. I want to make it completely clear: I’m not here to fix you. That’s not how healing and the spiritual journey works.
You cannot impose healing on someone. It’s an inner alchemy, a process of self discovery that no outer person can do for you.
Someone can guide you, show you the path in front of you and give you information and tools to assist you to make the best of your situation, to get you to your desires, but they can never travel the path for you.
Often I feel like Twin Flames forget that I’m a person too. I’m making my own journey as I walk it, and running this site has been energetically more intense than I ever anticipated to begin with.
When I first began giving readings to Twin Flames I started with an honest desire to help. But I noticed that conflict frequently flared up between myself and my Twin afterwards – because the other person’s energy had become tangled up with my own… (as an empath, I was gifted with spiritual abilities but the downside of this is picking up on more “truth” about others than is pleasant).
We’re all energetic beings. Currently, there are tens of thousands of Twins focusing their energy onto me, for good or bad… and I have to admit to you that a lot of times I’ve debated whether to throw in the towel and stopping the site altogether just to get away from the intensity of it all.
Kings & Queens: Recognizing Your Own Sovereignty
There is a lot of pressure directed toward “leaders” and “gurus” and “spiritual channels” to present magical solutions, to fix things. The truth is no one is duty bound to fix anything for anyone else.
This is a free will game, life. I started out with the joyous desire to help others because I’d helped myself, and believed that it was possible for others to do the same with my tools and methods.
Judging by the enormous amount of positive feedback I get on the Vibrational Alignment Program and the Free Twin Flame Downloads, it was the right decision.
And many of you do seem to understand the spiritual truth that you are your own sovereign creator, that you have the power, and you’re happy to know and feel this… And you’re aware that if there’s work or challenges, you can put in the effort, clear it and reap the benefits.
And above all that it’s in your power to feel good within yourselves, to live in love from within… Which is, incidentally the “inside miracle” which begins to attract positivity in your relationships too and opens you up to Twin Flame Union.

But there is a large part of the community who seem to be “stuck”. Whether that’s an inside perspective or an outside fact. Some people simply don’t believe things can get better – some even believe that Twins are destined to suffer – and they choose to not take any action, for that reason.
There’s a sense of entitlement, a sense that someone else is to blame for the current situation or that it’s up to someone else to fix things.
Often, it’s not an aggressive sense of entitlement, it’s a victimhood mentality. Yes, I’m calling some of you out on it…

When the honest truth your soul is waiting for you to realize is, it all begins and ends with you. You are a co-creator of your reality, as an infinite soul.

I know this can be tough to take but ultimately, you are the only one who can truly make you happy. You are the only one who can make this journey work for you, and you knew that when you came to earth.
When your happiness depends on someone else’s behavior – you leave your life’s journey vulnerable to circumstances …

Why You And Your Twin Flame Are Here
You and your Twin didn’t come to earth because you wanted to suffer and experience endless heartbreak. You came here for love.
And if things got tangled up along the way, that’s often because of free will choices you both made. But you were aware of this possibility too, you took it into consideration. There are always solutions. You made sure of it.
The important thing is, it’s not impossible to come together.
But it’s up to you. It’s certainly not up to me or anyone else. You are the master of your own journey. However – over the last few years I have done my best to provide you with all the advice, insights and tools I’ve found to truly make a practical difference.

I too am trying to guide twin flames to seeing beneath the veil of despair, impatience, disappointment and the sense of giving up the dream. I am affected too by the finger pointing from many but at the same time I am seeing that people are unwilling to change their patterns of behaviour and thoughts. The fact that I see the twin flame pattern is mirrored to each other. WOW!! A post I do not have to read all of it. I went through looking for answers outside of myself but I got myself out of that phase. At this point it is my ego sabotaging it for me now but healing that part of me at this time. My ego is not used to love and being happy so it is protecting itself from getting hurt by past relationships. It is also not used to who this person is and that he is not in this world anymore. My mind goes back and forth to my ego and to my higher self. My ego also keeps wanting reassurance that it is allowed to have this relationship with him for the fact he is not in this world anymore. Did you go through that as well on your journey? Though I do know in my heart and soul that I want this relationship with him no matter where he is, I am opened to this relationship and I truly know I am happy because I was talking to a trusted friend about it and she realized the big smile on my face talking about him. She never saw a smile on my face when she met me so she was surprised and so was I. It made me realize that I can be happy with this relationship and having him in my life.
Thank you Cassady! There is so much truth to what you said. I’ve been in that place where I wanted someone to fix it for me, but I’ve learned.. slowly and sometimes painfully how to do this myself. (Through the programs you have created.) Patience is the word that was sent to me over and over in some of the difficult transitions. However the energy clearing, the work on myself has paid off. The connection between my twin and myself continues to grow. I’ve learned to love my twin unconditionally and to focus on the positive in life. Whether or not my twin and I end up physically together here and now, doesn’t matter to me the way it did when I first started this journey.
