Retrograde Season – Rough Cosmic Energies Make Way For Real World Twin Flame Reunions, Challenges Rise As The Past and Collective Ego Battle Against Dreams Of A Happier Future…
We’re now in one of the year’s heaviest retrograde seasons – major planets including Neptune, Pluto, Saturn are moving “backwards”, as well as the north node and Chiron. In cosmic terms this means we’re being asked to look within right now.
Taking time off from our regular schedule is a great idea, as it can feel hard to progress and get things “done” right now.
These retrogrades are in essence pushing us to re-work our inner functioning as human beings, de-cluttering, streamlining and uplifting our emotional processes, our attitude to spirituality and authority – in an effort to assist us in reaching higher into our full potential as souls.
What Old Perceived Rejection Is Holding You Back?
For love relationships, we’re dealing with a detoxification of what has kept us from feeling able to fully open to our partner. Any old emotional wound – often relating to the collective, to groups who may have rejected us in the past – or fear of losing face are highlighted.
Because when we fear rejection, we unwittingly block out love.
In its essence unconditional love is about being fully seen for who we are at our most vulnerable, and to be loved and love anyway. To love despite perceived flaws and setbacks…
So if it feels like all your old insecurities are threatening to come out in the open right now, there’s a reason for it.
When you put down your old “stories” and fears – set the baggage aside – you can open up to love and be loved on a whole new level.
Look around you, most human beings go through their whole lives experiencing merely a fraction of the love their souls are capable of sharing, receiving and feeling. As a Twin Soul, you came here to revolutionize this, to help the whole planet rise up into love.
Shared Twin Flame Baggage Coming To The Fore
This is why all the old “baggage”, all the old hurts and fears begin to come up when you meet your Twin Flame – because you and your mirror soul trigger each other to begin releasing everything that isn’t love.
Everything that held you back from being open to each other, has to leave. Ascension is very often tough for people, as it involves an almost re-experiencing of old hurts as they come up to be resolved.

But there are ways of lightening the load, uplifting your journey, opening to the love that has truly existed between you as souls since the dawn of your existence.
Ultimately, what determines whether your Twin Soul connection is harmonious or fraught with problems is your energy vibration and your core beliefs. The actual hows and whats of your journey actually make very little difference.

Ancient Masculine Power Abuse Rising Up For Resolution
We’re now seeing Mars challenging Pluto retrograde – dealing with the past in terms of Masculine power abuse through history. This could mean unconscious negativity coming up between the Twin Flames.
Ask yourself what you are *really* feeling right now – because unconscious motivations surrounding fear and power are likely to be coming up “pretending” to relate to the present moment.
Spirit shows us that this particular transit, which is ongoing for about a week, will be bringing up a lot of collective negativity from the earth itself. From the old karmic fields which essentially are collections of human beings’ thoughtforms, emotions, energies and experiences from thousands of years.
So keep an eye on yourself and what you react to right now. Shield yourself, connect to the light and do what you can to stay up and out of the way of the collective chaotic energies rising up to be released.
Who’s Been Trying To Block Your Happy Love Life?
Jupiter in Libra, centered in the house of marriage and relationships, is now being challenged by Mars, Mercury and the Sun in Cancer.
Again, spirit indicates, the aggressive energies of the past and tradition are positioning themselves as a block to unity and the harmonious love Twin Flames are here to embody. Cancer is the sign of home, family and tradition.
We can interpret this to mean challenges within the Twin relationship, but it’s likely that certain information, opinions and other people’s perceptions will be trying to derail you in this period.
Either with skepticism, sowing seeds of doubt or trying to lay guilt on you for having changed “too much” in recent times. Others’ opinions and perspectives from the past, recurring somehow.
Spirit shows us others who are operating from a place of Ego trying to hold you back from your future path of harmony and love. Sending them love is the answer, we’re shown very clearly. Meeting opposition with opposition only breeds more of the same.
Focus on whatever you feel love for – animals, nature, your loved one – and send this love to any naysayers that come your way. This disentangles you from their attempt to bring you “down”.

Marriage/Relationship Templates Being Reworked
Another indication right now is that the very templates and “cultural institution” of marriage, cohabitation and relationships are being refined. Away from the traditional ideals of family, heterosexuality/racial belonging and group roots.
We see that Twin Flames are here to assist the collective in opening up the marriage and relationship templates to a purer and more heightened love.
Love for love’s sake. Untainted by concerns of others, survival, fear, dependency… Unconditional love.
Did you know nearly half of all marriages in the United States end in divorce? There is clearly something that’s not “working”.
There are so many unhappy relationships in the world, so much conflict. In bringing forth unconditional acceptance and a state of soul unity into the human collective, Twin Flames are assisting the whole.
Venus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn are also interacting intensely right now – this can tend towards strong sexual encounters bordering on obsession…
But interpreting these energies there is deeper work going on than “mere sexuality”. We see these two planets “collaborating” on a long term manifestation – higher love in the physical.
Preparations Made For Physical Twin Flame Reunions
The work that is going on right now is clearly preparation for more and more Twin Flames to reunite in the physical.
This is a very strong message we get now – groundwork is being laid. It’s all about bringing the templates of spiritual, unconditional love into the physical reality, is what I’m hearing.
Paving the way for Twin Flame Reunions in the “real world”.
And in a lot of Twins’ cases this means to first clear away any blocks that might prevent this from happening. Fear is the big “culprit”, I’m shown.
When we have fear, we’re not able to be on the receiving end of love. The two energies are mutually exclusive and fears are very good at “hiding”.
Most of our biggest blocks are so unconscious we don’t even realize we have them.
They often stem from our “animal instincts” (fight or flight response) or from childhood before we were old enough to understand logic and reason.
Let me illustrate with a story, so you understand what I mean: I was shown earlier in my own journey why I kept feeling like my Twin Flame was lying to me when he told me he loved me.
The more he told me, the more irritated I got, because I didn’t believe him. And it was blocking me from really feeling his love, from us opening up to each other.
Why I Grew Up Not Believing In Love
Spirit showed me the exact core incident that caused this deep-seated disbelief of love: I saw myself at two years old, about to be taken to kindergarten for the first time. My mother took me there, saying she loved me so much.
She then left me with some strangers in a frightening place with lots of children I’d never met before. I was howling for her to come back, crying uncontrollably as she walked away…
The kindergarten staff told my mother this happened all the time, and to just walk away and I’d soon fit right in, have fun with the other children and forget about her.
Spirit showed me that to my two year old self though, it felt like being abandoned. And just after my mother had told me she loved me. No matter how logical it was to the adults involved, to me it felt like utter betrayal.
At that point I formed a deep seated suspicion of love, and the unconscious belief that love would always be taken away from me.
This was such an eye opener for my Twin Flame connection.
I had had no recollection of this incident until they showed me, but there it was clear as day and I remembered the feeling.
What Subterranean Blocks Are Getting In the Way Of Your Reunion?
These are the kinds of “underground” blocks we’re dealing with clearing now – so that love can stream forth between the Twin Flames as it’s supposed to.

Releasing Relationships And Places To Shift Into Position For Reunion
Pluto is an intense energy, life and death, so we’re dealing with deep work in this period. Some zodiacal energies have a strong tendency to attachment (to people, places, things) – among these, Taurus and Scorpio are very attachment prone.
Unfortunately, with this comes grief and trouble in times of change and when relationships shift and dynamics get altered.
Pluto is assisting these two in learning where their need for attachment comes from, so they can alchemically transmute this and learn to feel safe.
For some Twins this will be a big help in shifting out of preexisting relationships with others (or to open up to relocation) that need to be released in order for physical Twin Flame Reunion to take place.
The spiritual wisdom is that attachments are unnecessary, because existence is eternal and physical separation is an illusion.
If no one ever really leaves, no one ever really dies, and we’re all souls of light – why grow attached?
Attachment is based in illusions and fears of losing somebody, and Pluto is here to show these up. Especially in terms of romantic love – the heart and sacral chakras are being stirred to “show up” attachments and cords like this.
Whenever we have a sexual or close romantic relationship with a person, we exchange energy cords with them.
As the Twin Flame journey of purification begins, these cords will be stirred to be released – however, clearing cords must be done consciously.
Sleeper Twins Being Triggered To Shake Off The Mask Of Ego
Significant times also for Waking Up so-called Sleeper Twins right now. As Mercury enters Leo while in a square to Uranus, we see that the Ego is being rattled this week – for a reason.
The more a person has been “seated on the high throne of ego” the more triggered they’re set to become at this time as the cosmic energies attempt to shake loose the old self perceptions so that the soul can finally shine forth.
Keep a cool head around others now and know that if someone seems to explode, their soul is patiently waiting behind the scenes for a chance to step forth.
We also have this message reinforced by the simultaneous trine to Neptune and Mercury sextile Venus – there is a milder, more loving version of the “angry person” waiting to step forth.
Everyone is a soul in a body – and now the road is being cleared for this infinite self to shine through more fully.
Getting Clear On The Future – Do You Know How Your Bliss Looks?
In the run-up to the Capricorn Full Moon on 9th July, tension is set to rise as old emotions come up for resolution, so do your best to keep a positive focus right now.
This Full Moon happens in opposition to Mars and the Sun – the classic interpretation is *female, Mother* versus *male, Warrior*. I’m sure you see how this could spell trouble…
We’re set to be feeling inner turmoil right now as different priorities and intentions fight for dominion – success, happiness and the future versus home/family, fear and the past.
“Know thyself”, said the sign at the entrance to the ancient Delphi Oracle. In order to know what to align with right now, it’s imperative to go within even for just a few minutes, and feel into:
What will truly make you happy long term?
What legacy would you like to leave in this lifetime?
And why?
Whose priorities and intentions could have affected your life choices (highlighted are mother, family, female peers) and do you truly agree?
The future is at stake right now. Be true to yourself, honor your bliss, your passion, your uniqueness.
Letting The Universe Work Its Magic
Where are you headed right now – in your love life and as regards your passions? Use this time to get back on track with what will satisfy you long term.
Spirit’s message is for me to directly address those of you who feel you may have missed out on your dream already, or that it isn’t possible, because of money or location or other people.
Their answer is: please don’t give up. Nothing is impossible. There is always a way – set the intention that you’re open to the universe responding to you, and it will (go here to discover how).
Set the intention that you’re willing to make a go of your dream, if something showed up. That if the door opened, somehow, you would walk through it. Clear your blocks, uplift your energy to align with positivity.
Then watch as the pieces of the puzzle begin to make their way to you, bit by bit…

Wow Cassady! This post really resonated with me because my Twin’s spouse has always tried to make him feel guilty for speaking to me and following his own dreams – she uses the children to make him feel bad and irresponsible. Because of that he won’t speak to me anymore. So now I know I need to send her love, once I feel the love, do I visualise her and send a prayer or is it ok to look at a picture of her and talk to her that way? (I know this is a really silly question sorry!) xxx
Again, Cassady, this hits home and comes at a time when I’m struggling with just this issue. I too had an incident in early childhood that made me feel abandoned by adults, scared. My dad had a serious accident and my mom spent a lot of time at the hospital, leaving my young self with various neighbors and family. When he got better I had problems when my parents went out for the evening, not being able to understand they’d only be gone for a short time. Adults only looked at this from their point of view, not a young childs. For years I was afraid of abandonment, even at school. I realize I put this on my tf. I did it this morning. If he says he can’t get together with me, I feel abandoned by him, I feel rejection and hurt. But this is mine and not his. This is my big thing I’m working on. Really trying to accept our friendship and that he is not abandoning me. I even question whether I should continue the friendship when he says he is busy (he is with work) and can’t get together. Add to that friends telling me to find someone who will treat me better, and it gets confusing.
Stay strong and patient. My twin does the same… even regularly blocks me/ignores me… right when we made big sacrifices to be together. It’s sheer hell and it puts me in a dark place temporarily, makes me question everything… but thanks to Cassady’s teachings I’m able to listen to my guides. They keep telling me to rest and that big things are around the corner. That, and I trust him. I just have to give him space.
P.S. My twin’s (ex, I think) does the same but I just can’t send her love. I send him love and it makes him strong enough to handle it all, even if he does have to block me.

Hi Cassady, This post comforted me this week as it told me why I was feeling a little off. I can’t thank you enough for your transformative tools: they helped me out of a dark time. Something strange has been happening lately. My twin is in a relationship with someone else and after not seeing either of them for a long time, I’ve ran into his girlfriend every day this week (in the lobby of my apartment, at the salon etc). And last night I had a dream that I called my twin and he answered with “Hi sweetheart!” The way he used to. In the dream I thought it was strange that he was being so nice on the phone. I called to tell him about some art I was given in the dream: 2 paintings of Aphrodite and Venus and 5 sculptures to put on the wall of angels with their names on them… I remember Matthew and Michael. The whole conversation another man I’ve gone out with was with me and he was trying to tell the story for me and interrupting me and my twin. Interesting symbols don’t you think? Why would I be running into her when she has nothing to do with the connection? Thank you dear!
